Robin Nimanong aka ROBBEDUZ (They/them) develops their work in the field of queer art and expression, to aim for unheard voices to be heard. They combine queer identity and queer theory, and apply this as framework for deep collaborations. Consisting of their interest in dance, the body and media. They combine these with questions about identity and self-care. Crossing borders between dance and other disciplines.

Robin graduated with a bachelor's degree at Modern Theater Dance in 2017, Amsterdam. Their work is strongly driven by their queer identity and Thai background. Their dance film Aphrodisiac II (NEXT BEST FRINGE AWARD 2020) was made by and for the queer community.
After that

“When dance becomes expression.”

It’s not about being a good or bad dancer. Because both can be interesting.
It’s about finding moments to express the suppressed, to discover, to find nostalgia, bliss or tenderness. Which we often don’t give enough space for at daily life.
And this is all hidden in the body, movement, the perception of time and space.
But also in visual art, fashion and A.I.
